Save a checklist as a template

You can save a checklist as either a new template or to the template the checklist was originally started from.

This is great if you make changes to a checklist while performing the tasks and want to save those changes to the template or create a new template with those changes added.

Save a checklist as a new template

To save a checklist as a new template, open the checklist page and click on Save as template in the action menu.

This opens a flyout with two options select the Save as new template option.

Now you can set the name of the new template, set a description and select what you want to keep from the checklist to the new template.

To save the checklist as a new template click the Save as new template button.

 

Save a checklist to the current template

To save a checklist as to the current template, open the checklist page and click on Save as template in the action menu.

This opens a flyout with two options select the Save to current template option.

Now you can select what you want to override from the checklist to the current template. For example if you uncheck due date and the current template have a due date set, this action will not remove the due date. It will keep the due date set on the template.

To save the checklist to the current template click the Save to template button.
